Orange Cat 1.0.3 makes every run feel better
A release about the small moments that make a fast arcade run feel fairer, clearer, and more rewarding.

Smoother runs, brighter arenas.
Version 1.0.3 is a polish-heavy update. It refreshes parts of the world, gives the economy a more welcoming first step, and tightens the transitions around the stage map and pause menu.
- Refreshed backgrounds across selected rounds and Bonus Round 1
- Improved round layouts, colors, timing, and pickup placement
- Food pickups now award double points
- Economy unlock now grants a one-time 50-Cookie welcome gift
- Shop opens at the economy unlock, with the starter offer shown after the first Shop visit
- Smoother pause-menu and stage-map transitions with safer touch input
- Optimized Android texture imports for the updated backgrounds
The first five rounds
The economy now starts with a clearer welcome.
When the economy unlocks after five completed rounds, Bubble Cat now gives you a one-time 50-Cookie welcome gift and opens the Shop so the new systems have somewhere useful to land. The one-time Starter offer waits until after that first Shop visit, keeping the unlock moment focused instead of stacking multiple popups together.

Round polish
A clearer backdrop for the action.
Several arenas received refreshed background art, including a new look for Bonus Round 1. The pass also tunes the selected round layouts around their art, adjusting platform and ladder palettes, timers, bubble colors, and food-drop positions where the playfield benefits from a cleaner read.
- Fresh background art across Rounds 2, 5, 7, 8, 10, 13, 17, and 19
- A refreshed Bonus Round 1 backdrop
- Selected platform, ladder, bubble-color, timer, and pickup-position tuning
Food pickups also award double points in this release, making a well-timed catch feel more worthwhile during a crowded round.
Menus in motion
Pause, choose, and get back to the bubbles.
The pause menu and stage-map menu now use coordinated enter and exit transitions instead of several independent animations. Buttons stay protected while a menu is opening or closing, the pause button disappears cleanly during round outcomes, and quitting back to the map closes immediately when it needs to. These are small changes, but they make touch controls feel much less fragile when the action is moving quickly.
Under the hood
The art pass got a cleaner Android import path too.
The refreshed round and bonus backgrounds now use an updated texture-import setup for the Android build. That keeps the new art looking sharp while giving the release a more deliberate path from source artwork to the game running on your phone.
